It looks like many of us have found the documentation for the v4 middleware in nextjs-auth0 a bit tricky to navigate (thanks for the input in issue #1983). The good news is, we have made some improvements and we can make it even better together 😊

For me it would be helpful if there is a no-middleware router only upgrade story between v3 and v4.
