Description
WINDOWS
- Onboarding (Exception shown on screen) - @sarthak
Onboard an atSign.. Close the app.. Reset the atSign.. Open the app and an exception will be displayed at the bottom of the screen. Can we make this a more friendly error message? @sarthak - App got stuck on sync in progress/ QR Code error message
Onboard an atSign… Close the app.. Reset the atSign… Open the app and Reset the app.. Activate the atsign again and the sync will get stuck.. Reset the app and tried to activate again… got Authentication Failed.. Please provide a valuid QRcode to authenticate (@2right) @sarthak
ALso happened witht he old app.. Activated a previously reset atsign and it got stuck on sync. (ridiculous1) but worked on second attempt - Onboarding
Activated a new atSign.. Chose not to save the keys so i clicked continue and the app said "Something went wrong!!!" (we need a more meaningful message and also not so many exclamation marks) @sarthak
Update the app
- Prompted to update the app with the options to update or maybe later.. If you choose maybe later, there is no way to manually update from within the app - @son Le
- When i click Update it makes me open the store in a browser, then asks me to open the app.. And shows an error message
IOS
- File sending took a very long time - @son Le
Onboarded and used the old app then updated to the new one and tried to send a video to an atsign on the old app.. It said sending files for 3 minutes
Failed to download image
- Sent 2 images from macOS new version
It shows the two ticks but there was no thumbnail and no image when you open it. But if i tap on the blank space it shows the image - @son Le
Duplicate entries
- I sent a video from phone (new) to desktop (old) and desktop received it twice (older version) - bug from old UI, won't fix
MACOS

Something went wrong on opening the app
I used the old desktop app and then upgraded to the new one.
When i opened it it asked me to enter my password for the keychain then when the app opened it said something went wrong at the bottom but i was still able to use it - @son Le -
Thumbnails on videos in Transfer history - @sarthak
We currently dont have theses on both mobile and desktop but we have them on my files

Notification of incoming file - @son Le
- No notification or marker on screen to show that there is something new that has come in (a dot can be shown on notification icon)
Deleted fIle not deleting properly (Video) (not required)
- Received a file… downloaded it.. Deleted it from the transfer history
Went to my files, it was still there under recent and in the photos folder but when i tap on it it says sorry file not found
Switch atSigns got stuck on sync in progress - @sarthak
- Had 2 atsigs that had both received and sent at least 1 file
Had to reset the atsign and then when it switched to the other one i had to reset that one too
This was with competitive1 and ridiculous1 and when i tried to re onboard with them they both kept getting stuck on sync
Enhancements
Onboarding
- Change the "Upload atSign" button to "Get Started" or something similar. It's the first thing you see and if you need to get an atSign you won't know that clicking this will get you to the same place
Onboarding
- The file saved successfully message is in white text on a grey background on MAC OS. Cant read it
Received Files
- If you click on a received file it says Sorry, file not found… it should automatically start downloading
