documentation: compile,install

using otp-27 and following the documentation i did not succeed to compiling and install.

is this because i'm being too clumsy or could there be something wrong with the software installation on my development computer or is there possibly another reason?

i was successful after i included

sasl to

    {release, {atomvm_packbeam, "0.7.4"}, [
        kernel,
        stdlib,
        sasl      % added to get rid of compiler warning

and copied _build/default/bin/packbeam to a folder mentioned in my search path.

the program created in this way seems to be usable without any problems (at least on my computer).

Thanks for bringing this to my attention! The documentation is wrong. It should say:

shell$ rebar3 as prod release
shell$ rebar3 as prod tar

I opened #35 to correct this.

Also the sasl warning is safe to ignore, I updated the rebar.config to suppress this warning in #36.
