Hi everyone, I'd love to volunteer myself to be included on the AsyncAPI Code of Conduct Committee! If you check the Introductions channel, you’ll often see me being the first to welcome new folks. Many beginners even reach out to me directly in DMs for guidance and support. During the GSoC season, my inbox was flooded with messages from newcomers (though things are oddly quiet now 😅). My contributions don’t stop at Slack. I’ve also actively helped beginners on GitHub, giving suggestions, guiding them through issues, and making sure they feel supported. So I’d be happy and excited to help with CoC responsibilities on both Slack and GitHub. Also, let’s not forget the vibes. I regularly share memes in the Watercooler channel to help keep the atmosphere light, friendly, and stress-free. Honestly, you could even crown me with the “Best Memer of 2025” award 😂 If needed, please feel free to check my activeness on both Slack and GitHub for proof. Otherwise, I’d be happy to share examples here as well! Thanks! |

Update (May 14, 2025) In light of the recent situation within the community(see Slack Thread) and ongoing investigations by the Code of Conduct team, we are temporarily postponing the CoC committee nomination process. Additionally, moving forward, nominations will be limited to TSC members only. This is to ensure that the CoC committee is composed of individuals with demonstrated knowledge of the community, its culture, and its values. Once we have completed our review and resolved the current issue, we’ll revisit the nomination timeline. Thank you for your understanding. — Maya, CoC Committee |

I want to be part of the CoC Committee, it has been almost 2 years at Asyncapi. I started as a contributor, then became a TSC Member as well as a Maintainer of the CLI. I have completed the Asyncapi mentorship, and I am currently working as a GSoC mentor. I am very active in the organisation and help the new contributors as much I can to provide a proper view of the Asyncapi as well as i have opened many bounties issues for new comers as well : ) |
