on another app i've used, they would ask me how sore i felt before starting my workout for a particular muscle group. this allowed me gauge if i needed more or less volume for the current session. maybe something like this could help? |

At a high level, when I'm planning a new mesocycle, it's important for me to put muscle-specific recovery windows in the program. For example, my hamstrings take a long time to recover, so I like to have a minimum of 3 days between focused work in a week for them. Synergistic muscles also play a role in this. An example is that I try not to schedule RDLs the day after I do a heavy back day. So after generally getting my exercises planned out I go through each week to identify which days focus on which items and then look back at previous days to try to identify if I have left enough time for recovery for those muscle groups.
The request here would be some UI during planning that shows the number of days that a muscle groups has been able to recover before a current day, or maybe the minimum number of days in a week? I'm very open to different approaches here since I don't think there is only one that would work. I mostly just looking to be able to tell when a muscle will recover in a week at a glance. It would likely need to include the concept of rest days, but that seems very doable now with just an empty workout day.
Thanks for all the great work on this app!
