I would like to propose two enhancements to the workout tracker:
1. Support for Negative Weights in Supported Exercises
It would be great to add functionality for negative weights in supported exercises, such as supported pull-ups. Negative weights can help users work on improving their form or control during the eccentric phase of the exercise, making their training more versatile and effective. This would allow the app to track the assistance provided by the support and adjust the overall load accordingly.
Example use cases:
2. Timed Exercises for Isometric Movements
For isometric exercises like planks or horse stances, it would be useful to introduce timed sets, allowing users to track the duration of their hold. Currently, these exercises are often tracked by reps, but holding for a set amount of time is more relevant for exercises like these.
Example use cases:
Implementation Suggestions:
These enhancements would improve the app's flexibility and make it more applicable to a wider range of training styles.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this!
