how to enter a transponder frequencies into memeories bank ?

How to proceed in order to enter a tranponder frequencies , I mean for instance F1 = 145.500Mhz as input and F2 = 432.600Mhz
Offset should be -287.150Mhz but CHIRP is not allowing such a value ...

TxOffs (menu 08/68): Enter 287.150 (you can type this value directly from the keypad, or use the Up/Down keys).
TxODir (menu 07/68): Select - (so negative offset...)

It works the same in CHIRP...

In the txoffs (08), in source of ui/menu.c, i have add :

It's dirty code but work an don't have to make calcul any more.
I think sure you have best, nicer solution and best nice.
