Hello, Yes, I'm familiar with this project. I've been following it for over a year now. It's a very interesting one. I even discussed it with the Quansheng team, suggesting that they increase the EEPROM size to 4MB by default to make it easier to support this alternative bootloader. Losehu is working on a project with his a NEW Bootloader, from where you can select what firmware to load from extended 4Mb.
You can load four firmware versions.
The picture (below) shows the new Boot Menu with firmware Selection.
Lohesu doesn't yet support Settings/Config per firmware.
But that doesn't matter with four F4HWN variants ;-)
Armel has several firmware variants, but the Settings (and .py) mappings are the same across all variants.
Switching between firmware versions is therefore possible with F4HWN firmware.
Switching to other firmeware is realised within 30 seconds !!!!
