Hi Chris, Thank you very much for your kind words! Regarding your question: unfortunately, it's probably not possible to reliably detect when the Beken chip is being disturbed by a strong out-of-band signal. This kind of interference is primarily a matter of RF front-end filtering and hardware limitations, rather than something the firmware can easily observe or measure. The BK4819 (used in the K5) doesn't provide any direct way to report such conditions — it just delivers whatever signal passes through the analog front-end and filters. So, unless the interference causes visible effects like desense or spurious signals within the tuned frequency range, the firmware has no clear way to identify that something external is disturbing the receiver. It’s a great idea in theory, but sadly not something we can implement with the current hardware capabilities. Best regards, Armel |

Hi Armel,
first, congratulations and thanks for your work.
A question and may be a feature request ::
we know the reception of a signal may be disturbed by an out of band strong signal.
Is there a way to know that the Beken is disturbed by such a signal ?
If yes, it would be cool to display a warning...
Chris
