4 Lists of 50 memories possible?

I would really like to mod this firmware to have 4 separate lists of 50 memories each. Is this even feasible? Before I start digging into the code (I'm not a coder), is there some technical reason why this is not ever going to be possible?

Sure, it's possible, of course. But it will be a huge job. You'll have to rethink a lot of things: several menu options will have to be adapted, scan management will have to be completely overhauled, and you'll also have to modify the chirp driver. With only a few bytes free, this will be complicated.

Thanks for the response. Hearing that it's possible gives me a reason to start hopefully learning some C and see if I can hack something together. I really hate being limited to 2 lists
