Offset non-image file

Hello all,

I love being able to offset images that I load into LaserGRBL.
Together with 'Append File' I can create very accurate spacings/positioning.
Nice.

Does anyone know if it's possible to do something like this with gcode files?
Can I edit* the files to emulate the same offset/effect?
Any tips appreciated.
