cut depth

I have a Byroros BE100 and I'm trying to cut plywood. According to the specs I should be able to cut 5mm plywood. I tried with 2 passes but it still does not cut completely through I pulled specs for a 5mm cut from data base and also 7mm and neither one cuts through
The book is very vague I used vectorize with 300 speed and 90% with the2 passes I'm looking for any suggestions /instructions on how to set it up Thank you in advance
