Hello. I've just purchased two sensors Renke-RS-FSJT-N01 and Renke-RS-FXJT-N01 for measuring wind speed and direction. I'm currently gathering information. I bought the RS485 versions.
One of the challenges seems to be to change the Modbus address of such a device as mentioned in the manuals (https://instrucenter.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/RS-FSJT-No1.pdf). First, I contacted the manufacturer to request the Windows tool for changing the address. Does anyone use this tool? With the version I received by mail, my virus scanner immediately kicks in :-(. However, this just one part of the story, the opener.
Ultimately, I want to use the sensors to receive the weather data in my iOBroker (it supports Modbus and MQTT). So, my approach is to set up an interface with TASMOTO (I'm at least a little familiar with it, as I have several in use). By means, I want to use the sensors with an ESP8266, flashed with TASMOTA. With regards to this, I have the following questions:
