Esp32S2 Wemos D1mini Wifi Reconnect fails after deep sleep wakeup

Hello everyone, is this problem known? When waking up from deep sleep, the ESP32S2 Wemos D1 Mini device powers on but cannot establish a Wi-Fi connection. The blue indicator LED flashes, but no Wi-Fi connection is established. After a short time, the device reverts to deep sleep. After some unsuccessful reconnect attempts, it restarts completely, and the countdown starts again at 63 seconds. Info say: Restart reason RTC Watch dog reset digital core and rtc module.
FW is self compiled with bme280 support 14.1.0.3 What can I do?

Wifi trouble is not at all unsurprising with that board. I'm seeing better result with the genuine branded Wemos boards than reported with clones lying about being Wemos. Try testing it after ensuring good and stable Wifi.

The S2 version of the ESP 32 seems to be a bit special, as there are separate firmware versions for it. However, the problem only occurs after deep sleep. A normal power-on start always works reliably. So, it can't be fundamentally due to the stability of the WiFi. In my opinion, there must be a special initialization procedure that's different for the S2 than for other modules.
