It would be helpful and useful for debugging and other security reasons if there were a way to enable or disable all DNS requests being logged.

You get this information with log level 4. Example:

Yes, that's correct. Even if I ping a URL from the console, the DNS resolution is also logged. I was thinking of being able to see which websites clients are accessing when the device is used as a range extender.

AFAIK, when using the Range Extender feature, the DNS lookup will be done by the client, not by the range extender AP device. Hence nothing to log.

Doesn't the range extender also provide the client with its own address as a DNS forwarder during DHCP? However, it's not easy to determine on an Android device which DNS server the device is using when performing DHCP. You could find out with Wire Shark, but that would require a bit of effort to answer this question.

Well, you can check logging on the client device, to see what it does for DNS lookup.
(I'm still seeing the RGX client having the DNS of my router, not involving the RGX AP)
