Downloaded the wrong minimal.gz

... and uploaded it. Device restarted and is dead.

Looking at the file, it is only 37 k?

What can I do? Do I need to dissemble and re-flash? Or can it be saved?

That link is does not point tot a file, but is instead a redirect to where the actual file is; I suppose that you found it on https://github.com/arendst/Tasmota-firmware/tree/firmware/release-firmware/tasmota

When downloading, do not use right-click/save or something like that, but click on it, and then use the "raw" link provided on the web page.

Anyway, using the "primary" location for release binaries also allows for simpler downloads.

If you actually got the 37 k html page you got to upload, that would not be useful code, meaning that you'd indeed need reflashing from the bottom.
