Is the Shelly Plus add-on supported for the Shelly Plus 2 PM?

I installed the Shelly Plus add-on on a Shelly Plus 2 PM.

Unfortunately, there's only a template for the Shelly Plus 1.

Although it should be possible on the Supported Device

I also can't find "DSB OUT" and "DS18x20"

As the add-on is "merely" an electrical interface, Tasmota cannot have or not have "support" for it.

Not sure why you even look in the direction of a "Shelly Plus 1" template, when the relevant template for a Shelly Plus 2PM is https://templates.blakadder.com/shelly_plus_2PM.html

Still, to do anything on top of the base setup, like using the add-on, you need to configure the relevant additional gpios, as there can be no standard template for the many different things it would be possible to connect.

The temp sensor is now working.

What I can't get to work is the magnetic switch.
How is it configured? I imagine it like this: When contact open. Button in WIF shows door open.if contact closed:Button in WIF shows door closed.

Which GPIOS do I need? And which functions?

Magnetic switch now works.

GPIO 19 Switch 2
GPIO 20 Relay 2

When the garage door is closed, the button shows OFF, when the door is open it shows on. So far so good.

What is still annoying is that you can change the status in the web button.

Is it possible to set the button to inactive?

No, but you could use the WebButton command to set a text reminding you to not push it. Note that the deliberately rudimentary admin/test web UI is not meant as a place you use in normal operation.

You could also code some handling in Berry, to take over control of the gpio, instead of any Tasmota standard handling.

There is still one big problem.

I have set Poweronstate1 0 so that the relay is off after a power failure. Unfortunately, this also applies to Relay 2.

Relay two should always show the status as it is.

Is there a solution for this?

Simplest would be to not use PowerOnState and/or use SetOption0 0 to not save power state.
You can also ensure power off via a boot time rule or Berry code.

Is it possible to set Relay 2 so that when the magnetic switch is open the web button shows on even when the button is pressed? So the status of the magnetic switch is always displayed?

Well, if you ensure that Relay 2 gpio is toggled in sync with Button actions, this will indirectly show a status. Reliability of this depends on proper synchronization, and if your way of doing this interferes with the standard actions, depending a lot on how you are already handling it.

Do remember that the rudimentary admin/test Tasmota web UI front page is not intended as a place to use in daily operation, hence you should not think of this as some sort of "dashboard".

Still, with ESP32, you could also do a lot of local on-device stuff with some Berry coding.
