Update period grid meter eHZ-KW8E2A5L0EQ2P

I am currently struggling with reading my grid meter (eHZ-KW8E2A5L0EQ2P) and publishing the values to my MQTT server.

I am using the following script:

This kinda works but the meter display is updated every second but Tasmota publishes the power value only about every 4 seconds. The value in the web ui is updated about every 4 seconds as well. I used a serial reader on the same meter before that updated about every 1 to 2 seconds. I would like a more frequent update using Tasmota as well.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
