Feature request: add a property at the field level to define the file extensions allowed for media/file fields

It would be fantastic if when defining fields in views the extensions allowed could be confirmed. This would allow for easily handling different file extensions and restricting them per field. It also makes logical sense that this be controllable at the definition of the view - other things related to a file upload are ie max uploads, so why not this?

To clarify what I mean:
