Move Prover (devnet_setup script) fails if machine has existing PIP

When I run ./scripts/dev_setup.sh -yp to install Prover I get an error and the script exits without installing. Please note, my machine is setup with python3 and pipx.

How can I get around this python managed environment error?

What error, if any, are you getting?

apt-get install result code: 0 error: externally-managed-environment

So the solution for Debian 12, at least, is to delete the EXTERNALLY-MANAGED file in your system Python installation:

sudo rm -rf /usr/lib/python3.11/EXTERNALLY-MANAGED
