Is react v19 compatible with apexcharts + react-apexcharts?

Hi - I am a software eng. at a startup and we use apexcharts for some data viz work. We are trying to upgrade to react 19 but I am consistently running into this error and have tried quite a lot of solutions but can't seem to escape it:

TypeError: can't access property "parentNode", this.el is null

Has anyone else confirmed React 19 and apex are compatible? Has anyone ran into the problem I have here and know of a solution?
