Can I bridge null values?

Is there a setting in area charts that lets me "bridge" a line across null values? Ideally I could style the bridge differently, e.g. as a dashed line.

Before the new version, null values worked, but with the new update this doesn't work. In my app, a function doesn't work for this. 😠 I will continue looking for a solution.
