Is the only way to create two different options by updating the existing one?

Hello everyone I am trying to create donut chart with two different options based on my pedal_balance_left value.
Is the only way by updating my options?
Im stacked somewhere in between right now. If my value is null i get the correct options but when i change my tab to a chart with balance left I still got the old options. Thanks in Advance.
