How to clear all selected bars

I currently have a page where you select bars on a chart, and actions take place, and data is updated.

I have a button that resets all the data back to its unfiltered original state, the values of the bars are updated, BUT the selected bars are still highlighted as if selected.

Anyway, to clear these selections or "refresh" the chart back to its unselected original state.
