How to change position of custom tooltip dynamically by cursor position?

Hello!
I tried this example for placing my tooltip above a line in the chart, but it didn't work.
I'm getting that pointsArray property is an empty array.

Please, I will appreciate, if you can provide any help.

This is what I'm getting now, but need to place tooltip above progress line.
