Couch db error while accessing views

I am getting the below error while accessing the couchdb views. Any idea how to fix this issue?

Thanks, I think this is the bug we fixed in #4199 which was fixed in 3.3.0 onward, so I would upgrade to 3.3.2 to resolve this.

@rnewson ... since we are on couch version 3.2.2... and it is not possible for us to upgrade presently, what are the ways to avoid this error?
Also, is there any workaround on version 3.2.2. Do we know what activity causes this error - so that we can avoid that?

The error above occurs randomly when couchdb is under load. You can upgrade to get the fix or reduce the load you make to couchdb, but this will only make the error less frequent.

Thanks @rnewson... load on couch db means per record, the size should be less or number of calls to couch db should be less
