Password reset for imported VM

Hello everyone. Is the password reset feature disabled for imported vms by any chance? I imported a vm from an external kvm host but the reset password button is missing from the vm details section. Maybe the kvm-default-vm-import-dummy-template is not password enabled?

sounds like that is the case, did you check the template?
You can assign a template on import:

to make sure it does have one with password enabled.
And it seems to be an obligatory field:

With what version are you trying this?

I am not importing from a remote host. I am re-importing an exported VM though, but I doubt that would make a difference.

This is really weird. @weizhouapache Wei, could this be a bug or am I not using the feature as it should be used?!

@nvazquez @shwstppr , can you chime in? Is the difference of the dialog due to a version difference or due to a configuration?

I'm not sure why but templateid option is available for remote KVM host VM import.

Maybe but Daan is not using remote KVM import and neither am I, yet he has the option and it's also mandatory. Very strange.
