How to create customized cloudstack-templates with packer?

Hi,
thanks to Kiran, there is a cloudstack-integration for packer:

From other builders (for example vsphere-iso) iam used to use the boot_command-directive which doesn't seem to be available for the cloudstack-builder (understandable).

How would one built pre-configured images for cloudstack?

We use to update the kernel-loading line in grub-minimal to something like:
linux /casper/vmlinuz autoinstall ds="nocloud"
(combined with cloud-init and cd_label="cidata" we are able to deliver a self-defined preconfiguration-file to fully customize an ubuntu-based template, like changing partition-design, install additional packages, change localization settings etc.)

Do you know any ways to achieve this for cloudstack-templates as well?
