Upgrade from Cloudberry 1.6.0 to 2.0.0

I've been testing Cloudberry for some time and now looking at the prerelease 2.0.0 version

If I take a system deployed with Cloudberry 1.6.0, stop the database and then install Cloudberry 2.0.0 then on startup I get an error
It seems that there is a checksum failure with the database files

$GPHOME/bin/pg_controldata -D /gpdata/master/gpseg-1

WARNING: Calculated CRC checksum does not match value stored in file.
Either the file is corrupt, or it has a different layout than this program
is expecting. The results below are untrustworthy.

Is it expected that an upgrade from 1.6.0 to 2.0.0 would be possible ?

Any suggestions how to work around this problem ?

Hi, for the upgrade, you can try to use cbcopy: https://cloudberry.apache.org/docs/sys-admin/migration-and-upgrade

Would this also been needed for further releases or will everything maintain compatibility after apache-cloudberry:2.0.0 ?
