I would like to be able to click on a cell and that calls a custom validator with a signature of cell value, row, and col.

What I have so far... This works but cannot get row and col. An array stores the database data and when it is updated, the array needs to be updated or the text in cell disappears. It does not need to return anything.

sheet.Validators.Add(new Region(1, 99, 10, 10), new CustomValidator("", false));

public bool IsValid(CellValue value)
{
    if (string.IsNullOrEmpty((string)value.Data))
        return false;

    Console.WriteLine(value.Columns());

    // update array
    // data[row,col] = value;

    return true;
}

would like something like...

public bool IsValid(CellValue value, int row, int col)
{
    if (string.IsNullOrEmpty((string)value.Data))
        return false;

    Console.WriteLine(value.Columns());

    data[row,col] = value;

    return true;
}

Another attempt, that I could not get to work.

I came up with the following and not sure if it is the best way? Maybe some with more experience :) can help out.

sheet.Editor.EditFinished += EditorOnEditFinished;

public async void EditorOnEditFinished(object? sender, EditFinishedEventArgs e)
{
    var rowid = e.Row;
    var colid = e.Col;
    var value = sheet.Cells.GetValue(rowid, colid);

    // update database
    await UpdateNote(data.note);
}

Not 100% sure what you are attempting, but could you do it by creating a custom editor or renderer - using your own blazor component to listen for clicks? There is some code to show custom editors/renderers on the example site
