• project purpose and description
• links/references to the bitfield/script repository to establish connection
• create a contributing guide and perhaps a code of conduct (dream big)
• ensure proper repository configuration for pull requests, branch protection, and other basic goodies
• communicate with bitfield and get any feedback, input, suggestions, etc. and try to attain his blessing
• add some basic CI/CD like a GH action that runs all the tests
• add/maintain a list of tags for this repository
