Disable Advertisements

Haven't been able to figure out how to disable ads for twitch, the channel I'm subbed to is the same channel I'm trying to record. Any help would be appreciated. I'm doing this on ubuntu version 22.04

This is a streamlink issue, check the documentation here https://streamlink.github.io/latest/cli/plugins/twitch.html#authentication on how to get your oauth token from twitch and use that with streamlink to not get ads on channels you are subbed to.
