SPOILERS BELOW TECHNICLY
- The VI has 2 diffrent modes it can be put in which are
Scrap collecting/Vortex fishing = Green
TARDIS towing = Cyan
-SCRAP COLLECTING/VORTEX FISHING
-
SC/VF can be done by either placing the VI near a rift or in the TARDIS while in flight.
-
Once you want to use the VI right click it and select the mode, if SC/VF is selected the TARDIS will forcefully stop moving and will stay parked in the vortex.
-
From there a holographic view of the vortex appears like a map, the player then has to make "nodes", which is done by clicking on certain spots on the map.
-
The player is able to make 5 nodes, once done a "fishing line" is casted out, if the fishing line connects to junk/debries which is visualized on the map it pulls it in.
-
Once pulled the loot will be dropped at the entrance door.
-
The reason why the player must make nodes is beacuse the vortex isent just a tunnel, it has multiple entrances and paths, so you cant go in a straight line, you also have to distance your nodes properly, if their to far apart the "fishing line" wont reach.
-
The alternative way to use this is placing it near a rift entity, this will bassicly do the same thing as when using it in the TARDIS, exepet the loot is repelled out of the rift itself.
-TARDIS TOWING
-
TARDIS towing can be used by being parked near a TARDIS, using the VI and then selecting towing mode will allow you to select a TARDIS near you to tow.
-
From there the othere TARDIS gets a request if the user accepts the othere TARDIS can that made the request can then move and drag it along with it.
-
Alternativly the VI can force the TARDIS to a certain positon, this would tie with mood and types, if the user cant get accurate cord placment their able to use the VI to tow their own TARDIS to a certain place, this will damage the engine a bit.
