Hand Tracking - Joycons

Hi!
i just wanted to say how an amazing work alvr is.
well i bought a quest 2 recently without controllers, and i have been enjoying a lot of pcvr games with steam built in hand tracking.
but some of the bindings are not ideal.
i tried to use a joycon for the button inputs and hand tracking for the positional data.
i got it to work in minecraft java vr simply by remapping input from my mouse to the joycon.
my question is, is it possible to use alvr for only the positional data of my hands and use switch joycons as the controller input?
i checked the Neogrip project (amazing btw) but they requiere to build a specific controller with wired conection.
i will greatly appreciate any help.

ALVR supports sending buttons through a HTTP API. You could make a program to forward the joycons buttons to ALVR
