Altair "suddenly" does not load

I would've removed and re-added the extension to troubleshoot further, but I don't know how recent my backup is 😓

Hmmm I wouldn't have expected indexedDb to be this unstable 😕 It looks like its this dexie error, but no idea why it happened here 😢 Was there some specific action you did before this happened?

I have tried multiple times to open a new tab, kill the extension, disable & re-activate it 😅

It turns out it was "solved" by restarting the browser. Because of how it happened (== Chrome committed suicide) idk if closing the specific profile "would be enough", or it would require killing "the browser" itself.

Using it parallelly on a new profile worked.

It seems, however, all of my extensions (that I guess ALL of them use IndexDB nowadays), across all profiles have had a 5-day gap in saved data.

And also that broken profile's instance of Altair had more-or-less also lost all data too.

What has "also rang a bell" was this dexie/Dexie.js#613

interesting.. so this is a persistent chrome issue not specific related to Altair's implementation

Looks like it. Ofc I am not expecting you to "work around Chrome" 😅

Just "food for thought" if it is "somehow possible" and reasonable to "fix it"

btw - are you also getting those unsafe-eval errors? Any chance they could be fixed?

Yes, I get those as well. It's not related though, but I'll put in a fix.
