Public release checklist for repo

This is about things that need to be done in this repo and is not about to the software itself.

Things that I can think of:

• Rename the discussions category General to Development (as all discussions here are about the development of the software). Create a new category General exactly as this one, but empty.
• Organize dev docs.
• List third party software licenses
• Document directory structure
• Enable CI on push (or at least daily)
• Cross-reference wrapper repos and device demos in readme

Thinks that I have thought of, but think are better left for after going public:

• Issue and discussion templates
• Contribution guidelines

What else is there?
