There have been many requests for a public roadmap outlining planned features, as well as a better way to request and discuss new ideas and improvements. While GitHub Issues have been adequate for discussions, they’re not the best place for open-ended conversations.

GitHub Discussions seems like a good place for sharing what’s planned, gathering feedback, voting on priorities, discussing proposed features, suggesting improvements, asking questions, and more.
