Recover policies from backup

Hello,
First thank you for creating this great tool, I could backup everything I wanted.

Now I'm wondering how I can import back everything I backed up.

Everytime I try to import back a policy it just fails (see pic above)

I do this manually but I wonder if I can do this with IntuneCD :)

Hi,

I would guess the upload fails because the backup is doing some translations of for example assignments and scope tags etc.

It is possible to restore configs in to your tenant using IntuneCD using the update method: https://github.com/almenscorner/IntuneCD/wiki/Update

Running this update would not only create the configs if they do not exist, but also change the values back in Intune to what you have in the backup if they have been changed.

Thank you very much, I did not get that you could "recover" them like that.
I guess the name is a bit misleading because I thought it was to export it again/refresh the policies/update the software
