How to set longer/custom ranges in dashboard

I've checked that FR #1669 was closed and it seems that custom ranges were added to the dashboard. However I can't see different options even after updating to 1.6.1. I've also searched for new environment variables in the docs, but could find nothing about it.

Am I missing something? Thanks in advance

#1669 was closed without merging. We decided not to proceed with it, as there are other plans for the dashboard that would make this implementation obsolete. It’s still on the roadmap, but there’s no ETA at the moment.
