Help connecting please

Hi, I am fairly new to HA and integrations, but after following your guide, I keep getting an error. I have enabled Modbus TCP client. Once pushing submit, it fails after a few minutes and shows "unknown error occured.

Below is my logger details:

Is there something I could try or point me in the right direction?

Did you enable Modbus TCP Client on the VSN300?

the VSN is very simple to integrate, make sure the basics are ok: ip, port 502 open, slave id, base address.

The slave id is important, make sure it's correct, you can get it from the inverter or from the Aurora Vison site. The base address should be 0 when using the VSN.

Enable the debug log in the HA configuration:

logger:
  default: warning
  logs:
    custom_components.abb_powerone_pvi_sunspec: debug

After restarting HA, try to configure the integration and check the FULL LOGS in System Logs:

In the full logs window, type "abb" to filter the logs so you only see the integration debug lines.

Once you do that, post those lines here...

I opened the port TCP502 and my slave id was 5. This has done the trick and I now have all the values in HA! Thanks so much. Now to work out how to put it into a graph! haha
