Cursor setup has changed (I think)

Hey there!

Inside the Cursor settings, when I click on this button...

...it doesn't have a popup modal like it used to (and like the README instructions show), instead it sends you to an mcp.json file, where you have to do a manual setup, just like in Windsurf.

Am I missing something?

Yeah not sure where to setup the env variables per project basis

Yep Cursor now supports the usual .json config format

you should be able to use the same approach as for Winsurf (I haven't tried it yet myself) but it should work
