Our first sprint of the New Year 🎉

The team is excited to continue building out Zilla as the leading event-native edge/service proxy. Last year was huge with the addition of gRPC and MQTT protocol support. This year, we will continue to expand the feature set and have a dedicated focus on broadening the capabilities of the existing protocols.

Sprint 2024.1 Highlights:

• Enabling JSON-Protobuf conversion to make those bytes more friendly for us humans
• Improving the zilla.yaml config with better Kafka server definitions and cleaner env var usage
• Enhancing MQTT data fragmentation and Quality of Service(qos) features
• Adding more validation for large messages and OpenAPI/AsyncAPI responses
• Making features in our Incubator easier to get your hands on
• Working on some TLC for the zilla dump command
• Squashing bugs in MQTT connection pool, sessions, and memory usage
