[BUG] Changing the colour when you have an alpha value set resets the alpha back to 100%

Describe the bug
Changing colour with an alpha value set, resets the alpha to 100%.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open the picker
2. Set the alpha to 50%
3. Change color
4. The alpha jumps to 100%

Expected behavior
The alpha does not change unless the user changes it.
