Javascript file can't use .js 

Because of the way files are cloned to the server,the static search file can't use .js. This is fine, but perhaps there is a better way to include json, as this feels like a hack.

Perhaps inject into the head of page instead.

It also means that static search can't work on non static versions of the site.
