How to make an auth provider for non "user-like" models

I have a Company model, and I'm trying to create an API token authentication for it.

It should work like an "api access token"... A company can generate a token and this token should work for guarding company-specific stuff.

Some points:

• Companies doesn't have passwords or emails, it's just an id and a name property. The token it's just to guard the endpoint.
• The token should not be related to any user profile in database.

I've tried this following the docs:

But when I try to use it, it seems to make all other user auth stuff broke:

There is a way to use the auth package but without being related to user-specific flow?

You will have to switch the guard explicitly. auth.use('companyApi').user!.roleId
