Webpack Encore and Critical CSS plugin

Does anyone have experience with setting up Critical CSS inlining with Webpack Encore?

This is what I got in my webpack config:

const CriticalCssPlugin = require('critical-css-webpack-plugin')
const path = require('path')

Encore.addPlugin(new CriticalCssPlugin(
  {
    base: path.join(path.resolve(__dirname), 'dist/'),
    src: '/',
    target: '/',
    inline: true,
    extract: true
  }
))

I pretty much have no idea what the base, src, and target should be, or even if I am on the right track?

I guess critical-css-webpack-plugin is more geared towards static sites so that's not the right direction. I know there are plugins for Wordpress that can automatically do this. I am still curious how people tackle this with Adonis.
