[v5] Adonis with native ESM

Is it possible to use Adonis with "type": "module" in package.json? Right now it says

TypeError [ERR_UNKNOWN_FILE_EXTENSION]: Unknown file extension ".ts"

I tried tweaking tsconfig.json but with no luck.
