Aria tooltip animation

I wish to animate a tooltip to slide into position. If the position of the tooltip is top, then I would like it to animate from the centre of the trigger to the top. if left, then it starts from the centre to the left.

In the starter kit, there are animations included but they do not work as expected.

The issue is depending on the size of the tool tip text, the starting position of the tool tip is different. This means sometimes it will animate from bottom left of the button to the 'top' position. and if the text is a different size then it will animate from the bottom right.

Has anyone had the same issue?
