Symbolic links doesn't work anymore

I was putting select articles in the home page by symlinking them to content/home (which I added to mainsections)
Before, hugo failed if there were 2 files with the same name, so I casually renamed them to i.e. home.about.md
But now hugo says
DEBUG cachebuster: Matching "content/home/about.about.md" with source "(postcss|tailwind)\.config\.js": no match
Do you have any hints? Maybe the upstream changed some things?

I can copy them or hardlink them, but I still wonder what could be the issue

Cleanest way seems to be copying them at deploy as of now
But I'll look forward to any answers, thanks!
