ScrollToColumn not working?

It looks like there is no way to programatically scroll horizontally. Not sure if its' a bug. Scrolling vertically works, the example is even shown in demo. Digged a little and found that the implementation in scrollToColumn is missing?

Here is snippet I found that seems to be responsible for scrolling:
